Even Keel is renowned for being the cottage used by author Antonia Barber and illustrator Nicola Bayley to depict the home of Tom Bawcock and Mowser in the hugely successful "The Mousehole Cat".
Keeping it's pretty blue and white exterior, this legendary cottage is something of a landmark tucked into the winding, narrow streets of Mousehole.
Downstairs is a good sized, well equipped kitchen breakfast room with dining table. There is a WC and entrance porch, idea for storing your body boards and wellies. There is also the pretty master bedroom with ensuite shower room.
Upstairs is the living room with comfy sofas and TV, and there is dining table near the window which over looks the pretty little harbour and there is also feature Cornish Range. Off the living room is a cute little sun room overlooking the harbour and beach - A perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and a good read!
The twin bedroom is also on the first floor, as is the family bathroom with shower over bath.
Even Keel is perfectly nestled in Mousehole to enjoy the beach, pub, restaurants and galleries. Mousehole is ideal for exploring West Cornwall with the Minnack Theatre, Sennen Cove and Lands End all within ten miles away.
