Early in the 1930's two local Cornish families were joined together when a young Trenoweth and a young Pender were married and bought a cottage in Mousehole to start life together. They never moved again and now their granddaughters take loving care of the house they used to visit when they were little.
Tre-Pen has authentic items which hint at its fishing history, original art and limited edition prints giving an insight into the family that lived there and the history of their beloved village. The interior is now a perfect blend of traditional and modern providing comfortable accommodation right in the heart of the village with a nice sitting out area close to everything Mousehole has to offer.
Right in the heart of the village within easy walk of the Ship Inn, restaurants, cafes, galleries and everything Mousehole has to offer including the safe little beaches in the harbour. Safe enclosed outside space in front of the cottage which is set on a classic narrow windey street.
The whole ground floor is open plan so you can chat to the cook and watch as your meal makes it's way to the vintage dining table. If the weather's nice you can sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine in the courtyard which is large by Mousehole standards with plants and flowers springing from pots around the old Cornish palm that has been there for decades
You'll feel special sitting in the main bedroom enjoying the view over St Clement's Isle to Mounts Bay and when you step into the bathroom things take another step up as there's a modern high end walk in shower with sink & wc to match
